Following the launch of the Hitachi Vantara brand (the unification of Hitachi Data Systems, Pentaho and Hitachi Insights Group), there was evidence that existing customers were concerned about their future presence in the data centre.

It was our role as their partner agency to correct this impression and tell a new, compelling and powerful story.

It was our role as their partner agency to correct this impression and tell a new, compelling and powerful story.

We needed to develop a creative framework from which to present the brand proposition and story, with the longevity to take the audience with the brand as it evolved. With ‘data’ as the core concept, we developed the brand positioning ‘Data Is Your Story’. The message was that the past, the present and future success of any organisation is hidden in its data.

A powerful story is not enough. A tightly integrated and well considered, multi-channel marketing program was defined, using LinkedIn as a key igniter and driver of awareness… Hitachi has built a trusted professional community on the platform, where many of its key decision makers have a presence.
